This process typically converts petroleum - based feedstock Oil into Carbon Black by injecting Oil into a reactor, which 'cracks' the oil at temperatures in excess of 1000°C. A non - crystalline Solid or Viscous Material having adhesive properties derived from Petroleum either by natural or refinery processes, and substantially soluble in Carbon Disulphide.
