The company under the leadership of its Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. S.K. Agarwal accepted the challenge to manufacture international quality Reagents and Biochemicals in India. The company today, manufactures and markets a product range of 2200 compounds in different grades and standard pack sizes. The Company offers sophisticated and high purity chemicals in bulk and semi-bulk packs to the R&D and production units of various industries, universities and research institutions. SRL has launched dehydrated culture media and ingredients for microbiology required for the growing demand of these products in institutions, biotechnology & Pharma Industries. We process and synthesise large number of compounds in "all glass" vessels to keep the products free from ionic, metallic or other contaminants. SRL has pioneered in India the production of several reagents like Agaroses, Gel Filtration Media, Electrophoresis Reagents, Atomic Absorption Standard Solutions (AAS), Sodium Biphenyl and many other speciality Reagents and Biochemicals used in research and in industry. SRL has recently introduced a product range of 100 Microbiological Culture Media products as per cGMP & WHO Standards. The Company has gained proficiency in synthesising & purification of several Aromatic Ketones, Tetraammonium Hydroxides, Alkyl Sulphonic Acids Sodium Salts, Acid Chlorides, Alkyl Halides, Phosphate Esters, Mutagenic Agents, Scintillating Agents, Spectral & HPLC Solvents, Reagents for Electrophoresis & Molecular Biology, Biological Buffers, Enzyme Substrates, Various Reagents for spot tests and other specialties. For ‘SRL’ Dehydrated Culture Media range, the use of the highest quality of raw materials, especially the biologicals, enable our media to give standard colony size, colony count and optimum growth along with the specified colony characteristics. The Agar used in the manufacture of our Dehydrated Culture Media is of the best source and hence the media (plates/slants) prepared, give the desired gel strength making it easy to streak. Our highly trained and experienced technical team ensures that the products we manufacture give the desired consistent results batch after batch make sure that any inconsistencies are minimized if not completely nullified.The company has two manufacturing units, one at Kashimira, Dist Thane, and other at Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. Both are within a radius of 40km from Mumbai city.
