Synpol, the logo of the company derived its name from Synthetics & polymer Industries, then a partnership company, established in 1964, with a view to develop and market import substitute products in the Indian market. The partnership company was started by the technocratsMr. Vinod J. Kothari, now a Chairman & Managing Director andMr. P. L. Joshi, Managing Director, both post-graduate degree holders of Paints and Coatings from Department of Chemical Technology, University of Bombay. The credit of the company抯 rapid progress is largely attributed to the personal skills and hard work rendered by the above Directors, the unprecedented support given by all the employees of the company and the last but not the least by the most valued customers for patronizing the products of the company from time to time.
