Chengyi Milestones

Oct. 1966: The company was founded under the name of Tong Shan Pharmaceutical Factory;

Dec. 1989: An advanced injections workshop was built, which was the best at the time in the south of Zhejiang ; Oct. 1991: The company name was changed to Wenzhou No. 3 Pharmaceutical Factory; Mar. 1992: The dedicated workshop 201 was built. The company became the leader in manufacturing ribavirin in China ; Jul. 1995: The company became a leader in manufacturing Acyclovir at the time; Dec. 1998: Inspected and approved by TGA Australia . Apr. 2001: The company was privatized. The name was changed to Zhejiang Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Nov. 2001: Inspected and approved by SDA China and obtained GMP certificate; Jan. 2002: ISO9001 certified. Mar. 2002: ISO14001 certified Apr. 2002: Reviewed by TGA Australia . Jun. 2003: ISO14001 certified by RAB America Apr. 2004: Jiangsu Cheng Yi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd was founded. Nov. 2005: Inspected and approved by SFDA, covering torasemide and Acetylcysteine APIs.

Dec. 2005: Approved by MHRA GMP on-site audit Mar. 2006: Reviewed and approved by TGA Australia at the third time May. 2008: Cheng Yi obtained COS/CEP certificate from EDQM in EU.
